Fourth Grade math can be very challenging. While we will begin the year building on concepts students have learned previously, they will also learn many new skill this year. I can't stress enough the importance of becoming secure in their multiplication facts. Students should practice their math fact every night. Once a week, students will be tested on their fact fluency in class. They will be expected to memorize one fact family at a time. As students pass each fact family, they will work to build an ice cream cone. Students who have completed their cones prior to Winter Break will be invited to an ice cream party.
